@anirupdutta thats a little to much features, after all i am trying to create my own network and not emulate facebook. i only want to use facebook to make it easier for users to create acc on my site and possibly allow updates on facebook about... view reply

sure np, i have installed the current one and it meets my needs, although is there anyway to turn off the sync option with facebook by default. i only want the plugin to create an acc. that way the user has 2 distinct acc without having to fill in... view reply

hi is it possible to limit the time to join a group? eg: you only have 90 days to join a group from the date it was created? can invitaions to join a group be emailed, twittered, facebooked, etc? yaseen

  New facebook connect plugin for elgg 1.8.Backward compatible with the stalled facebook connect plugin.Uses graph api.will soon release a plugin showing how to use the exposed api functions.

  Okay guys I have released a new facebook connect plugin compatible with 1.7 as well.It has similar features as the one for elgg 1.8.
