Be careful who you hire. I would ask for references as some of the people who seem to be of high caliber are but are extremely unprofessional. Message me if you want some suggestions and people to avoid.

I echo TahoeBilly's advice on this, I have worked with and paid for work with several several developers here (including Mike) and can also help guide you on where to go... or more importantly, where not to go. 

Getting some user feedback could save you a LOT of heartache!
