How to set the site so that only friends can view another friends contents such as blogs..pictures wall.. Non friend should not be able to see another user content

  You can set the access to friends only. If you want this as the default behavior of site, then override the access view with an hidden input having access value as friends only.

  You can set the site default access to friends only. Go to admin/setting/advanced settings en change default access permission.
