Hey, Does any one know of an automated system(plugin?) that if an IP tries to create an account and fails (after say 3 times) it blocks that IP from accessing the site for say ~48 hrs? I have had many, many different IP's constantly try to...

  If you know the ip's
  You can permanently block them through the htaccess, just google for it
  
  Otherwise you have to write additional codes, to listen to the ip of user > number of failed registration attempts > Block registration if failed attempts > X

  look thru plugins repo -- e.g. those by 'RayJ' & maybe others too-- some IP# related spam blockers & nice stuffs for not nice spammers' tails ;-)
