I see this message on my PHP Admin panel:

You have to upgrade to the current version. That's fact of life too, not just for this particular anti-spam plugin. So, back up a step ... :) .. take a deep breath ... and upgrade to 1.7.5. And count on the necessity of upgrading to 1.8 in... view reply
I think you're on to something. Seems to me, the bots have to look for pages called "register.php, new_user.php, etc." Or something similar.
Would it be feasible for the individual site owners to change "register.php" to something unique... view reply
