u know please be more expecific(:
you people and your chrome/Firefox. Safari has the tools built in, also.
To answer your question. I will first explain how you find something. Using your preferred tool (safari, chrome, ff, not IE). right click on the element you want to change. find the css class (ie sub_menu).
Put a copy of your elgg on your computer, download a text editor (like BBEdit, for the Mac), Next do a "multi file search" on the whole elgg folder for sub_menu . On my default install I get 14 occurrences in 3 files.
Now the answer to your question to save you time this time. in your profile css file. /mod/profile/views/default/profile/css.php

Thanks for the help it solved my problem and saved me time
thanks onces again(:
There was a roadmap leading to 1.5 which has obviously been taken down. I'm not sure the core developers have planned out what 2.0 will look like. As Uddhava mentioned, there has been a lot of bug fixing but very few new features in svn since 1.5.
When I first started with Elgg, at the beginning of the year. I read somewhere that major releases would come every 6 months or so, with bug fixes in between. I did a quick search for it, but couldn't find it again.
Thanks for the information. From a new users standpoint it would be really nice if they would come out with a roadmap for the next few versions. At the very least it would allow us to focus our time on extending elgg in directions that are not in the plans at the moment.
example:
I cannot select multiple groups when setting permissions on an item. Is that a bug, feature, feature request. Is it on the horizon for next major update?
I my case this would be a much needed option. I have no idea if it is addressed in the svn, considered something that should be there, something they are working on, etc.... It makes it so that I am not sure how to proceed on it. Meaning it would make no sense for me to hire a coder to add this functionality if it's in the next bug release. Well I think you get my point.
I would test this without the flexgroup plugin and see if it keeps happening. If so, Welcome to my world, enjoy the wait, it's only been a month for me so far.

I can't test this without the flexgroup profile as it's something I'm relying on... I need to further extend the groups with other fields... OUGH...
Mmmm, the above doesn't instill any confidence in "support" here...
i just was thinking of something where we could have page a url to it and then place html code in the page... I dont need an editor just a page where there is a section to add html code thats enough. I am sure I can figure it out with the plugs out there like the FAQ plug but i was just wondering if there was something even simpler.
and its for embed code so people can paste banners on myspace profiles and what not... once i have the page setup can do the rest in html and php
I was not thinking of the badge. But, I badly need the technology to be able to create new pages. :|
He should be fine soon.. I looked at his CPanel; but then we got His Host Arvixe's Tech Support to do the Elgg Install for him. They do that as a service for free ;-)
Everything is is Fixed now, arvixe tech support installed it for me and now it works great
thanks to them(:
