What's the difference between RSS for mobile and RSS for desktop?
Elgg comes with RSS feeds for most of the pages. Ie. https://community.elgg.org/activity?view=rss Parameter 'view' changes used viewtype from default to any other existing one.
Well, there are some free services that do this for yourself, like appyet.
Here's an example code:

You need to grab that "RSS" links for each part of elgg that you want to include in the mobile app.
Password hashing is done via MD5(password + 6-byte salt). In 1.10 this will be replaced with password_hash() via Anthony Ferrara's polyfill.
Please search for existing questions before asking. Also "Performance and Scalability" is not a proper group for this question.
