I don't think there's anything existing to do that, but it can be done if you want to spend the time to learn how, convince someone to to it, or head on over to professional services and hire someone.
I haven't any problem in do it by myself because I know PHP around 9 years by now. Where I should start? Any point of reference or tips or screencast or something else?

well, knowing php is definitely the first step :)
If you haven't programmed for elgg before there is still a bit of a learning curve to go through as it has an MVC model you need to get familiar with - then there's the API that is very useful, but again, takes some time to really get to know.
