We're looking into upgrading, but it'll take some work ;)

hm, our LTS version is 3.3.24. it'll takes some work, but I saw it's about three years behind.

Elgg has a timeline it's called Activity, maybe have a look.

There's an old Timeline theme plugin available (tries to copy the FB theme - at least as it might have been back at the time the plugin was written). The plugin can't be used with Elgg 2 or 3 anymore without updating it first. I don't know if it's of any use anyway. Maybe for people who want a copy of FB. But as Jerome already mentioned, Elgg has it's own timeline already even if the Elgg default theme might be different from the FB look.

Because there is no owner_guid in elgg_river table WHERE rv.owner_guid != 1. I dont know if what you want instead of rv.owner_guid is rv.subject_guid or not.

elgg uses version 2.3.14.
