Hello   I installed the latest izap videos 1.9 plugin with the latest Elgg release 1.11.2. When I click on the add new video I get this reply from the system "Currently this service is not available, please try again...
    • I don't think this version requires an API key. Not all video services are available. Check the Plugin's page:

We are writing our API from scratch so Vimeo, Veoh, Blip, CollegeHumor, 5min etc will be available soon.

    • Ok. Thanks for the fast reply.

    • Alternative iZAP Videos version: (version 1.10.6 for Elgg 1.11).

As far as I know the official iZAP Videos version deals all off-server video additions via a feed server of iZAP. It might be that this feed server is unavailable (happened to me on Elgg 1.7 when they turned off support completely for 1.7 so I had to start my own fork). Or it might be that their feed server hasn't been updated yet to support the new API for youtube videos (in case you tried to add a youtube video). The update of the youtube API requires authorization with an Google API key now. If this is the problem, then it's not much you can do as it would have to be updated by iZAP on their feed server.

My fork does support less sites (only youtube, dailymotion and vimeo). But it handles all off-server video additions on your own server. For youtube videos you need an API key nevertheless. But you can obtain such a key on your own and enter it on your own Elgg installation in the plugin settings.
