It is likely the friend request plugin. Try to disable it and see if it works.
Hi,
I disabled the plugin and it works. Now, how do I make it work with the plugin enabled? I need the friend request plugin, but also need the complete functionality of the invite friends plugin. Is there a workaround? Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks
@Jazvel
Dhrup is right. Carlos is a big help to the community, he was just pointing out that the question has been answered a number of times.
We use A2 and there support is very good However we are going to move soon to dedicated hosting and there prices are 2 high and specs to low for that.
As far as what elgg needs, we have moved 3 times and are planning on moving again, as increase in membership will start to slow you down. You must be prepared to move before you need to.
Indications that you need more resources are when you hit your upper memory limit on your server. The server will start to use a hard swap file (virtual memory) and your site appears to hang. This is quite common on shared hosting.
Therefor what you need depends on your activity level.
@Jazvel
I disagree strongly also @Carlos is of much help with his time and support. Some (many) issues go through the message system privatly after a post. I do also know after plugin rewrites he has spend hours on. How can you give or (take) credit away from what you do not know about? @Dhrup is right ask others before assuming.
Maybe using search is something more members should look into before posting. This woulod cut down on cluttering a topic with multiple requests.
