I fixed that but the same blank screen continues to appear after enabling plugins. The error log shows that it can't find a file named topbar.png . I check the original elgg1.5 package and is missing there as well. This is the error log:

id download a fresh elg package and do a clean install
Perfect. Did a new instalation and is working nicely now. Thank you.
