Whats your problem with IE?

A working solution with IE is not so hard to achieve. I quickly wrapped some code here for you. You can try it. On a quick testing its working fine in ie8 and above.

http://jsfiddle.net/2ppf49ak/5/ does not work in IE (IE8) (that webpage, not your code)  - also http://stanhub.com/tutorials/sticky-navigation/ does not work. I will check from another browser and test your code and I thank you for providing it and testing it nicely.
