Thank you very much for your answer, i tried this :
$area2 .= elgg_get_entities_from_metadata(array('metadata_name' => 'status', 'metadata_value' => '1', 'types' => 'object', 'subtypes' => 'tasks', 'limit' => 10, 'owner_guid' => $SESSION['user']->guid));
but the output on my view is the word "Array", if i use that :
$area2 .= list_entities_from_metadata('status','1', 'object', 'tasks', page_owner());
the output on my view is ok. What the problem with the first one ?

elgg_get* functions return an array of objects. elgg_list* functions return the HTML to display the objects. They take the same parameters.
