You could certainly create an object for each object type that the users subscribe to.  Alternatively, you may consider using meta data instead of relationship.

How well do you think this new feature would scale?  Any access control issue?

I do not have it for upload.  But basically, what i have now is a text and textarea field.  Now I need to allow this subtype to have multiple file uploads. 

I can set the form to allow say 10 files, but  this is not efficient and I'm sure Elgg has  a better approach.

Im sure this is common and anyone that can share some advice would be great.

what do you mean by "inactive". Does the button still say "Enable"?

Enable - Yes it does.  It turns out there is an old plugin of the same name that I must have deleted not in the correct manner and it still exists in the system.  The only difference between the two plugins is the uppercasing in the letter. ie "Orange" and "orange"

However, I tried to delete it changing the plugin disable script.  Although successful, when i revert to my new plugin, enabling "orange", it reverts back to the old plugin name, "Orange".  

This is causing problems and somehow, the database is still noticing "Orange".  How do I permanantly delete the plugin "Orange"???

If mobile_phone is metadata for $user it will return the value of the string.  It won't show up in print_r($user) because it's not a property of the ElggUser class, but is fetched using the __get() magic method in the ElggEntity class.

I am trying to learn coding plugins with that, but I am not sure, if this turorial is still up to date for elgg 1.11 - or if I made a mistake following it.
