This plugin does not provide to additional posting on facebook. If you want it then you need to customize code yourself.

Make sure data directory is writable... When you install Elgg Framework It asks data directory path. so this data directory should be writable. You can have a look on demo, facebook profile is fetching out.

The plugin cost is only USD 10, I don't use elgg even I spent 2 days in fixing all issues and even my hourly rates are USD 10 per hour. So it is not possible to make it free.
