I don't know if it's all about autumn and the lack of good disposition but in the last 2 months not too much happened with Elgg and the community. Somebody knows any news regarding future Elgg versions? Will it be soon a transition Elgg 1.8.9...

  The hold up is with insufficient time. The core team has been swamped with personal and professional life the last few months.

@Evan: an performance booster sounds good. Untill 1.9 comes out I'll start familiarize with 1.8.8/1.8.9 :) Is there any way to disable/edit report this button that it won't appear in all pages(and I mean all including edit profile, add blog post... view reply

I'm enthusiasmated about the new 1.9 reelase too. There is a pre beta or pre something to download untill an official release comes out? view reply
