Maybe create a plugin the does uploading and provide the proper hooks for other plugins to use it?
Hi, I do not know if this has been asked before or not.
Some of my users have asked if a function to rearrange the order of pictures in albums can be developed.
I think this is an important fuction, allowing users to change the way the pictures are displayed in an album.
Or simply drag and drop the order. Really anything that will allow a user to change the order.
pointing out that php 5.2+ is the system requirements for ELGG install. maybe or maybe not the problem? I don't know.
@Brent
Did you use the php ini values I posted ?
Those sizes are rather LARGE and should take care of most "large" foto files..
Your older uploaded fotos from b4 the php.ini code change will still be bad.. delete those older fotos and re-upload..
I'm currently on PHP 5.1.6 (thought it was >5.2) - I will try to upgrade and see if that solves the problem. I implemented the php.ini changes but am still having the problems listed above when trying fresh uploads.
I'm not sure if it is related to the PHP version since profile pics are working okay, but i'll see if it makes a difference. Thanks!
