best to talk to the theme creator
There's a switch in most elgg_topbar.php files that displays the topbar only when a user is logged in. Our local theme shows a mostly empty topbar when you're logged out, only showing the search box and a link to log in.
But yeah, your best bet is to talk to the theme creator about this behavior if you don't want to edit the theme yourself.
I have the request for the default theme.
I want to create an empty topbar that i want to populate with some elements.
Coud you tell me more about your solution.
Thx.
