Interesting plugin. Sounds like akismet for profiles.

Took a quick look at the code. It does create its own table in the database. It also gives apache write permission to a directory the web root which is not ideal.

It looks like this helps with private messages spam, too. That's a good thing because the reported content plugin lets people report this type of spam but the admin is unable to determine who it comes from.
