@aakita check ur mail server its working correct or not
Thanks to all for the tips... something changed in my system with postfix when I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Through some pointers here, I managed to find this article that solved my problem. The mails arriving now. I hope this article helps others using a localhost installation on Mountain Lion...
