I would like to create a new page in Elgg where I can put my own content. I would like to have there all the default menus, etc. but with empty space where I can put my code. I would like to have a link to this page on my profile page. Should it...

  look at the code of custom_index,digg and learn it and you can use it to add php codes. Develop it as a pluggin, so that it will be upgrade friendly

OK, no point in discussing that. But I only added google map and jquery to original customdashboard plugin, so it is strange it's not working. Anyway, I'll try to deal with this on my own. Thanks. view reply

Well, it was working with Elgg 1.6, so I think this is an issue with 1.7. view reply

I have the original 1.7 with one third party plugin - customdashboard. When i disable it the site works fine, but without it I cannot put my google maps on dashboard which I really need. it worked with 1.6.1. Maybe customdashboard doesnt support... view reply

I don't have any 3rd party plugins except from modified customdashboard plugin. I just added Jquery support and implemented some google maps within the dashboard using this plugin. view reply

There is something wrong with JQuery. I have the same problem on a fresh installation of 1.7. Look here: http://community.elgg.org/mod/groups/topicposts.php?topic=449625&group_guid=12 No idea how to deal with that, though. view reply
