Thanks Brian, it's a Olympics 2012 Inspire Project and in paper-based form is quite a large projects with 100 schools taking part mostly in the UK. If I can get an online app developed for Elgg it would be great and start a new online community, it's quite exciting!!

Suzi, are you looking for a mod that re-creates the word document in elgg? If so it seems like a reasonably straight forward task. I don't know of any existing plugin that would work right out of the can but creating one should not be too difficult.

If you want a similar layout (to the word doc) you will need to figure out how to display two columns (tag cloud on the left, tinyMCE input field on the right - and still allow navigation. Elgg's primary layout is two columns, with a left sidebar. This layout may not allow enough room in the main content area for both.

Have you developed a spec with a layout concept? Start there - the technical parts are easy...
