If you're not running the eager widgets, you should. It drastically decreases mysql queries for profile and dashboard pages.

It is about your system RAM and CPU speed .

To get CPU info run this command on shell :- cat /proc/cpuinfo

To get Memory info :-  cat /proc/meminfo

As Cash said eager widgets do wonder .
