Tan solo tienes que descargar la base de datos y llevarla al otro sitio que necesites. En cuanto al contenido del sitio, como imágenes, vídeos y demás tienes que copiar la carpeta data o de archivos que asignaste a Elgg.

it is just like you say: Elgg doesn't add a "Discussions" site menu item. it is like if the plugin was disable but doesn't. The plugin don't works.

Discussions are hosted in groups and the menu items are there.

You can easily add this under Admin > Appearance > Menu Items.

You will need at least version 6.0 of the Widget Manager plugin on Elgg 2.X. Maybe it's even better to use version 6.2 of the Widget Manager plugin available at https://github.com/ColdTrick/widget_manager/releases even if this version hasn't been released on the Elgg community site yet.

I use the 6.0 version, i will tray with 6.2.
