Thanks for your help, however, it did not solve the problem. I have disabled all the plugins. And only enabled this one, no luck!
Please have a look at my original post, I have not found the layout option at all!
<Activate the Custom index widgets under the admin tools, choose a layout in the settings, save. << I did not find a save button!>Thanks.
