  You should report this bug to the Profile Manager developers. A comment on their plugin page will probably be enough.

  @ElggChan this issue is not present in the Elgg 1.8 versions of Profile Manager, so if you are using Elgg 1.8 please update to the correct version of Profile Manager.

  Which email are you talking about? User validation or setting up administration email? As far as i know these are built in features, you just have to input your credentials in the source code during installation alöng with your mysql details or change it through administration panel.
