i have the same issue at elgg.idotter.ch/elgg
1. no css is shown ... where should the css-file be located
2. how to install in root directory when /data shouldn't be in installation path of elgg?
Hey, Marc - I checked out your site and the css showed up for me.
to solve the problem of having white screen at admin because of the enabling corrupt theme is to just add an empty folder named disabled in /mod/ .After that go to your admin screen in browser and refresh the browser, the plugins are disabled and u will get the desired admin screen.
Jap, it is. But as I sayed, this problem is already discussed here: http://community.elgg.org/mod/groups/topicposts.php?topic=140701&group_guid=12
The example theme looks just like the original theme, if memory serves. It won't look any different til you change it, if I'm remembering correctly...
Thats correct - it is exactly the same and you have to make some changes to it to see any difference.

What's the theme, kaixer? Check whether it's compatible with your Elgg version (although I think it wouldn't have appeared under Tool Admin if it were incompatible).
