This plugin enhances the subject of emails/messages sent by the elgg object notifications. Instead of receiving multiple emails with a generic subject of "A new blog post" the subjects could be something more like "Matt Beckett created a new blog post: I wrote a new plugin today!" thereby giving context and allowing prioritization of messages at a glance.
Subjects can be controlled by object subtype - the default subject can be used, the enhanced subject can be used, or notifications for a subtype can be disabled.
