Currently there are no plans to update this plugin.

However I know Brett Profitt is working on an update, so maybe in a little while ;)

I've just pushed the work that I do have to a branch on my fork: https://github.com/brettp/file_tools/tree/2.1.x

There will be a version released for Elgg 2.1.X in the near future. I've removed some of the less popular features and revamped the upload form, so there might be some significant changes to what you're used to.

On Elgg 1.12, River 3c conflicts with file tools...

unless...

you load river addon...

then place River 3c above River Addon
