Hey Grate!
Hi Jerome,
Good job !
Intalled OK.
Upload file OK
Create folder OK
Download file OK
Only one small translation thing
I cannot find a "folder" plugin. Is it a core plugin?
I installed file_tools with no errors but I don't see any folder functionality.
Moving files down the tree is easy with the drag and drop, but once you have a file that's a few folders down, how can you move it higher up in the tree without deleting the containing folder?
Fantastic work, I'm going through it pretty thoroughly here so please don't mind the reports :)
The "upload file" button goes to an invalid url when viewing the "mine" filter of files.
love your work jerome! recommended

Can someone help?
Weell! Google knows it all, don't it? I tried "elgg folder plugin" and.. guess what?
@MontanaMike:
Have you checked the plugin settings, there you can enabled the folder structure. I will post a screenshot of the admin section soon
I found one for 1.7 but not for 1.8. Tried it but it broke site. You must be using a different Google Dhrup.
@MontanaMike: have you seen and read the reply of Jerome? There's no folder plugin needed (regardless if there exist such a separate plugin or not). The folder structure is enabled simply by a setting in the file-tools plugin settings.
I had done that but didn't see the effect. But I eventually found my problem. You don't see the folder structure when choosing "all" files. One I clicked "mine" I found the folders. That makes sense. Duh.
A plugin to manage disc space for all users would be fine. Why isn't this in the core?
Like this, but without bridge and api: http://community.elgg.org/pg/plugins/release/874531/developer/izap/disk-quota-for-elgg18
Hi Jerome. I've tried your File Tools plugin on Elgg 1.8.3 and it works great. It doesn't seem to do too well on Elgg 1.8.5. On the 'Upload New Files' page I only get the 'Empty Que' tab. The 'Browse To Upload' tab seems to dissapear. I was hopping you could help. Love it all the same. thank you.
I love the features...but I have an issue. When I upload any pictures, the thumbnails do not show up at all.
Works with socail docs plugin?
@Jerome Bakker have you considered putting the multiple upload feature in this plugin?
@Cim:
it has a multi upload function. If however you're using Elgg 1.8.5 it doesn't seem to work. Will fix this soon
thanks good to know!
We want to allow any file extension for uploads - is there a wildcard for this? If not could there be?
If we get a inline viewer working this just seems like a grand plugin set here, another game changer.
Tested on fresh Elgg install, beautiful plugin here! Does not work so far with Social Docs plugin, maybe that Social Docs is bugged in lastes release of Elgg as it doesn't seem to work on it's own.
Need an inline viewer for docs and this is one super duper feature set here in groups!
File tool is conflicting with tidy pics preview 2 flash uploader page.
on flash uploader select fotos, select file apeears. Making it unresponsive
Very nice! A couple suggestions
Just found a bug. If you reset permissions for an existing sub-folder from group to public, all the files in that sub-folder disappear.
