We have had complaints from our users and have lost users as a result of the activity river showing everything they do, including joining groups, friending people, editing their profiles and so on. This is information that they have not explicitly intended to reveal so it breaks the principle of controllable privacy and access control that makes Elgg so great.
- Fixed issue where number of river items was variable due to selective hiding
- Added optional support for hiding old river items (that were created before the plugin became active)
