Great Work!! Quick question, the third screen shot is a new feature?

It looks just like the real thing (joke). I am thinking it would help getting people 'away" from facebook and onto my site (to be developed)...

one issue, I am very new to elgg, some other plugins I installed (forum and gallery from hypeJunction) did no longer have link in this theme. why not? how can they be added?

and yes, what is the third screen shot?

and the second folder in the zip file?

the "second folder" is just from onzipping on the server, I just deleted it?

@ rjcalifornia this screenshot is a photo of the blog composer item, you can add it to your elgg with the blog plugin

I HAVE A QUESTION.... ON MY SOCIAL I HAVE ADD GAMES ONX AND RADIO... AFTER INSTALL THIS THEME I CANT SEE THE RADIO AND GAMES BUTTON... HOW I CAN ADD THIS IN LEFT LIST IN THE "HOME"?

AND THE GALLERY PLUGIN CANT SEE IN THIS THEME!

Hmm....First, you can find a key on your keyboard to unlock capital letters ;-)

If you want the link to appear, you have to modify the files in the "views" folders, pagesetup and add conditionnal stuff! check doc.elgg.org or just read the theming docs

You must have at least to understand PHP to modify the structure of your site

p.s: on your preview images, i can see the link " photos" in menu.... why on my elgg 1.8 site i cant see it?

The "photo" link is from the tidypics photo plugin!

but tidypisc photo plugin is not compatible with elgg 1.8 or not?

There is a preview release for Elgg 1.8 on the plugin page, it works at 99% according to the comments

Ps2 : i cant see icon in sidemenu... i have changed the png picture as u write in your readme...

but the icon "wall", "info", photos etc... cant visualized!

its "legal" to use this theme like facebook and twit? if some user use it for his website, do u think is all ok?

For the login page, you must use walled garden login page

For the icons...you might placed them in the bad folder otherwise I can't understand why you don't see them, maybe flush the caches and your browser cache too

For the law : yes its completely legal because the elements i've picked from twitter are open source and the theme has nothing in common with facebook! :)

i have see that : if i active "cool theme plugin"... and i want to delete a MEMBER from my social, i cant, because is not active "admin settings" in your theme... so, if i want to delete a member, i must change theme to "default"...

anyway Stan, your theme is good, but i'm not sure for the "legality"... yesterday in my social was registered a "strange user"... and i think it was a "spy"... i prefer to install a simple theme...

You are free to decide what theme you want to use but let me tell you everything is legal :)

How to add Menu itemes (in administrator/appearance) and other widgets (Who maybe know block example) to left of right website? Config default widgets is not apply to this themes?

@Giang : the theme doesn't use menu items so you must add the handlers by modifying PHP code in the file start.php
