This plugin is based on twitter library by matt harris.(https://github.com/themattharris/tmhOAuth)

The current twitter plugin by the core developers has a number of short comings,one is that it needs the oauth_api plugin.This plugin is backward compatible with the twitter plugin by the core developers.

Many twitter api end points have been exposed.To use them one needs to add code to their plugins.One interesting api point exposed is the ability to tweet a picture to twitter.
