@kashif depending on what you really want you can either give ".nav-sidebar" a width or you change the outer span from "span3" to something else ("span2", "span4", etc.).. change its counterpart respectively. e.g. [div class="row"][div class="span3" /][div class="span9" /][/div] to [div class="row"][div class="span4" /][div class="span8" /][/div]
