I needed something more intimate for my closed community, so I utilized Matt's "Customize CSS" Plugin and changed colours, graphics of the default theme.
The tile I used for the background is taken from a scottish kilt, I was told. I changed some border renderings in the theme to match an overall "stitched" look.
