gillie can you make it to work for 1.7.x. It is a very important plugin.
Thanks for wonderful plugin.
Sorry adoi, mobilize will not be backported to 1.7.
I have dowloaded the plugin, uploaded to my mod folder and extracted the files...but on my plugin list I see the Mobilize 1.8 on the list but it reads "mobilize_1.8 is not a valid Elgg plugin. Check the Elgg documentation for troubleshooting tips.more info"...any ideas why this might be happening?
Follow the Install notes above "Upload the folder mobilize".
You have uploaded the wrong folder.
Thanks for the clarification...problem fixed...great job

Is there is any way to add the wire on Home page similarly to facebook mobile?
Yes, you can add the wire to mobile/page/layouts/one_sidebar.php. Add it like it's done in river_addon plugin.
Great plugin andworks perfectly! The main background to my site is very dark, so the black text is difficult to read on a mobile screen- which file would I amend to change the font colour?
Solved it. /views/default/css/mobilize.php
Added "color: white;" before "font-size: 100%;" on line 11.
Fantastic plugin- thank you!
@gillie Thank you for the great plugin. I have installed it on 1.8.3 and it working. When I checked on my blackberry, I couldn't see other menu items apart from Activity. What do I do to make sure my users see all the menu items? Furthermore, the 'green' bar that says 'You have been logged in' never disappear. What do I do to clear it after login? It looks great on Andriod galaxy tab 10.1.
