The Plotology plugin lets your users easily plot the perimeter or area of any place or object on Google Maps in full screen mode. Your opening view can be easily changed to suit your site by editing the plotology.php file found in /views/default/. Just change the lat=53.382615&lng=-1.460195. You can see these lat & lng figures for anywhere on earth in the Control Panel of Plotology (see image). The same line contains the zoom level which can be set between 1 to 20 (mine is set to 7). The <div> is set to top:40px; because that's the height of my topbar, change this to top:25px; for default Elgg topbar.

I've adapted this plugin from the original MyCustomText plugin by Untamed. I hope someone finds it useful, if not for Plotology, for some other application that needs to be full screen.

This is my 1st plugin and I'm not sure if I've done it as well as I could have. The style contained in the plotology.php file stops the Header, Spotlight and Footer sections and I hope I've covered everything.

This is for Elgg 1.7.14 and 1.8 is now available.
