Complete Crap, display a fat ugly "Proudly supported by ..." on every page! Just deleted it...
Greatly appreciated, Soren. I code only for those who deserve it.
hey soren.. can always code own adverts plugins without 'supported..' ;-)
I am uusing BidVertiser as a publisher and i posted the code in the footer, however nothing is working.
Here is the code:
<!-- Begin BidVertiser code --> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.1" SRC="http://bdv.bidvertiser.com/BidVertiser.dbm?pid=481919&bid=1196870" type="text/javascript"></SCRIPT> <noscript><a href="http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/BidVertiser/bdv_xml_feed.dbm">search feed</a></noscript> <!-- End BidVertiser code -->
and all that appears in my footer is this:
<!-- Begin BidVertiser code --><!-- End BidVertiser code -->
Any help please? I am new to publishing ads and I think this plugin is what I need.
Thank You!
update: when i go back to the plugin and try to edit the footer code i notice my code has CHANGED into this:
<!-- Begin BidVertiser code --> <noscript><a href="http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/BidVertiser/bdv_xml_feed.dbm">search feed</a></noscript> <!-- End BidVertiser code -->
.. it takes out the javascript part...
Biddum1: Does this help?
http://ishouvik.com/enable-iframes-and-javascripts-on-ishouvik-easy-adverts-plugin
sorry for the delayed response, but i tried the method on the link and the advert is not showing,
(in step two it says the following)
create following files
/mod/adverts/views/default/adverts/elements/mycodes/sidebar.php
/mod/adverts/views/default/adverts/elements/mycodes/sidebar.php
do you mean one to say footer.php ???
Thank you very much for pointing out the typo, Biddum1. I have fixed it now. Yes, it ought to be footer.php for the second line.
You can even download the entire set of codes from the given page. All you have to do is make one tweet to get the download link.
I tweeted it and the link is not working for me either. I tried multiple times, would you be able to PM me it?
(my twitter is idrNights by the way)
Hmm strange, it just worked for me. Nevermind, I will mail you.

@Shouvik Mukherjee , with the help of your plugin iShouvik Easy Adverts v1.8.4, we succeeded in inserting the code script (JavaScript) in the FOOTER AND SIDEBAR of the REVIVER ADSERVER. We want to insert our SCRIPT also in the HEADER. Please help us if it is possible, we hope to receive you or other members of the Elgg community of the favorable answers in relation to our situation.
Hello, Polycarpe:
Glad to know that you used this plugin.
Well, it is quite possible to use the same set of logic to extend the view for the header area. I didn't put it because I just felt it would overcrowd the page with ads. But, I might think about it and do it very soon.
Thanks for your input.
~ Cheers!
@Shouvik Mukherjee, Thank you very much for your answer, you are a kind and very cool man.
We are in waiting of the update for your plugin iShouvik Easy Adverts v1.8.4 to insert our advertising scripts of the reviver adserver in the Header of our site web. I believe that several will also be okay for the insertion of the code in Header, footer and sidebar.
We wish you good work.
@ Shouvik Mukherjee: After uploading the easy adverts in Mods folder it's not displaying in plugin installation screen??
