This plugin is an updated version of Divagater's Elggx Userpoints plugin (https://community.elgg.org/plugins/385111) to work on Elgg 1.8 or newer.

With the userpoints plugin users can gain or lose points for performing certain actions on your site like posting blogs, comments, editing their profile, adding pictures, videos etc.

Installation

1. If you already have a previous version of the Elggx Userpoints plugin installed, disable the plugin and delete the elggx_userpoints folder from your mod directory,
2. Copy the elggx_userpoints folder into the mod directory of your Elgg installation,
3. Enable the plugin in the admin section of your site,
4. Configure then the plugin settings. Especially, you need to configure the number of points to be awared for specific user actions on the Point Settings tab. After an upgrade you might to check the plugin settings / point settings again to see if you might want to adjust anything.
