All the operations are taken care of the Facebook API. No such codes will be available in my plugin.

The logics are inbuild with the FB API.

@jmcenteno: This plugin was specially written for 1.8 and I have not tested for 1.7.x version.

I guess there are already few plugins out there for 1.7. Please have a search on the plugins list.

@Purus: There are a few plugins out there for 1.7 but yours is the real deal. I'll let you know if I come up with a solution

Try running www.site.com/upgrade.php

Hi, does the plugin work on other themes? I activated the plugin and there are no changes on my page.

Ideally it sholud work on all themes, it it extends the Elgg views.

Works great on my 1.8 install. I had the same problem with the Like area above the content so I commented it out in start.php like this.

//         elgg_extend_view('object/elements/summary', 'fb_like/like_me');

and the like area below the content still works fine without the problem of not being able to see the Post to Facebook button.

If I want it to just show once on the top how do I change the code to remove it from the bottom

never mind I did it it by removing this line elgg_extend_view('page/elements/comments', 'fb_like/comment_like',345 from the start.php 

Hey Purus, have you tested this in 1.8.2 yet?  I can't seem to get any output from this plugin, I tried reverting to the default theme and running upgrade, all the usual stuff... no facebook share links for me.

Hi! Was trying to use on elgg 1.8.8, suddenly it doesn't transfer "Likes" into the Facebook.
