omg ^_^ v nice! thank you!

i have easy theme on 2 of my elgg sites what files can i just copy other eg start.php and languages.php or which folders so i dont have to change to much settings etc : ) thanks again love this theme its the only truely customizable theme on elgg and in honesty is the best theme on elgg because of this!

basically i will lose all my data so how can i upgrade without losing my cusomizations and index page etc

Back up your old 'mod/easytheme' folder.  Use this to transfer the necessary files back into the new easytheme version.

Leave the easytheme data file alone, the new version will just use it and all the settings, and the intro text.  So that bit's easy.

Transfer your images from the old 'mod/easytheme/graphics' folder, over to the new one.

This version of Easytheme adds whole files, so swapping any of the original files for ones that you've already edited (ie from the backed up version) is safe. 

ok thank you : ), the custom index page i have a lot of html  code and pictures and text what file is that called so i can just open it and copy it to the new theme? sorry for my inexperience just want to make sure i do it properrly ; ) i will take a screen shot of the colours etc i am using so thats not a problem just the index page bit , intro text.

i worked it out just save grathics then add again after install of new easy theme, job done : ) sorry for misunderstanding i realize now that all the settings and intro text etc are in the data folder which is not replaced or removed

i had a problem with the header logo showing heres juBo's solution, worked problem solved

Open the 'mod/easytheme/actions/easytheme/save.php' file.

Look for this bit:

.elgg-heading-site, .elgg-heading-site:hover {
    font-size: 2em;
    line-height: 1.4em;
    color: #000;
    font-style: italic;
    font-family: Georgia, times, serif;
    text-shadow: 1px 2px 4px #333333;
    text-decoration: none;
    background: #fff;  
    padding: 20px;
    padding-left: 15px;
}

Remove that 'background: #fff' line. Save the file.

Then go to the Easytheme settings page and "Save" the settings.

Thanks for the great theme! Just a suggestion, Is their a possibilty of making the header function in a jquery sliding manner? Would be great for placing ads.

how to hide menu items like files,wire does not show for unregister user in home page.....how to change!!!!!!!

edit your theme settings in ftp etc not sure what you do exactly though

@vikram Use the elgg_is_logged_in() function to check weather the user is loigged in if its false unregister the item you do not want to show to non logged in user

@Dave ONchE  It's easy to do, just put the jquery slider in the header yourself.

@vikram I think there's a menu plugin somewhere that deals with hiding menus.

hello, i have this new version but the settings are not available in the "Configure" > "Settings" can you help me ? thank you 

hmm i am not sure i am using the new theme to i updated form the old one, try flushing the caches and dont click upgrade, also if all fails delete theme and add again save any images etc if you have edited them
