I installed the plugin and activated it but could not see the facebook connect button in the login? How to show the button in the login section? 

The profile photo is not sync with I sign up with facebook. Appear a withe photo.

Helloo my friendo @mpmgc No need of checking the versions on ur weekend, i finaly fixed the problem. There is a sensitive folder which you dont need to mess. If you mess with it once, the site will still run like owk but u will face prblems when you upload plugins e.g facebook_connect Login Button will not Display. I fixed it. www.salavesca.net

Does this " ..sensitive folder which you dont need to mess." have a name ?
That might help other people who have the same problem(s)

there is a 'donate' field input on the project details which can be filled out rather than making notes manually in the body ;) and expect 'donations' to be in about the same ratio to total downloads as 'recommendations '-;P 

@Dhrup you think some which its not that way. Why you think such a thing? We reply msgs here not on 1 on 1 but instant so replies my delay in hours/day/weeks or not even get any. We cant post sumthg as quick reply until we are sure

Helo friend @Vintageb did you happen to install Elgg v1.8.0.1 two times? And the second time you runned the install on the same database username and password?

When I get redirected back to my site gives me a FATAL ERROR.

The plugin does not display the settings. Say they have dependencies:

"This plugin has unmet dependencies and cannot be activated. Check dependencies under more info."

I use version 1.8

This plugin is working fine and I am not able to reproduce your problem. I believe you are using elgg 1.8.01.

Do you have activated curl extension on your site or localhost ?

This plugin requires it.

Is your PlugIn based on or re-using prior Elgg PlugIns' code ??

This plugin is based on prior plugin but I have done many change accoring need.

but just wanted to see the improvements c/f prior plugin's code -

This plugin gets email id of facebook user from facebook and search it in our database if it found then it associates existing user account with facebook accout otherwise it creates a new account and sends login details(username and password) to user email address.

Next time when user try to login using facebook connect then it simply authenticate and logs in user in a single click.

Also in prior pluging user facebook image was not updating in site as a profile photo so i changed the code now you can see demo at elgg.ektasoftwares.com

I am using a plugin from other user for facebook login. That plugin does not gets the email id from Facebook.

If I use this plugin instead of that, will the users who have created their account before, will be able to login or should they need to register again(a new entry in the user database)?

Sorry for late reply, This pluging Works for existing facebook users i.e. who have connected with old facebook plugin.

Now I have worked for updating existing facebook user's email (those who have blank email field in user entity table i.e. old users connect using facebook without email id) with facebook email id.

I will release it in next facebook connect version.
