Changelog:
- Upgraded to version 3.4.7 of the TinyMCE editor.
Install instructions:
- Disable the Elgg core tinymce plugin,
- Replace the tinymce folder in your mod directory with this tinymce folder,
- Replace start.php of the htmlawed plugin with the start.php file in the htmlawed subfolder in this plugin (the only difference is 'font-family' added in the allowed_styles array in line 27 to allow the use of different fonts in postings),
- Enable the tinymce plugin again,
- Execute the upgrade.php script, i.e. call http://<yoursite.domain>/upgrade.php in your browser.

The font family fix doesn't work on messages i.e when used on the message text area, somehow it reverts to the default styling. Thanks
@charlie: what version of Elgg are you using and what font family have you tried it with? It does work for me in Elgg 1.8.1beta. I've tested for example Times New Roman. It also showed the correct font when sending a private message both in "Sent messages" and also in the Inbox of the member who receives the message.
Sorry for the lack of details, I am using 1.8 and firefox 5 the font family was comic sans MS I will try other fonts as well. Thanks
OK I think the problem is on my end because I've just tested on Chrome and it's working well. I will do more testing. Thanks
