What you can do to help:

This provides a group widget that shows recent group member activities across the whole site

Last updated

A simple group widget that shows the recent activities of members of a group from across the whole site, respecting access rights (of course).

This is useful to encourage greater networking between group members and to blur boundaries between networks and groups. For me, it helps me and my students discover what they have been doing elsewhere on the site. Because, in my course, students provide course-related blog posts, files and bookmarks in their own personal spaces, this helps to bind otherwise loosely connected activities in a single space and makes it easier to keep up with what they have been doing.

If tunist's version of Group Custom Layout is available, it also adds a widget for that. If you want to do that, place this plugin after group custom layout in the tools list..

I recommend it should be used with my own fix-river-privacy plugin or similar so the the widget doesn't display every friending, joining of a group or editing of a profile, unless that's what you want, of course.
