is this going to solve the need that izap video plugin can not. I hope we can upload videos and have visitors playback

How does Slideshow work. It launches the plugin but the slideshow is empty ??

@Manuel : Use english. There is no reason for the plugin to stop after sometime. If you are getting any error, you should report that error.

CHMOD is 755 for all folders and files, elgg 1.8.1, any suggestions?.

I just downloaded this on elgg 1.8.2, and it is working, one question, how can I resize it for the activity stream?  I am not a programmer or coder, so need specifics please.  Thank you so much.

@Mikailah : Have a look the videos.php inside the objects folder. You will see a function called videoembed_create_embed_object() and one of the parameters for it is the video width. Just change it to suit your needs

@kxx4 : It wont support onserver videos. The pupose of this plugin is to allow user video uploads, but save the bandwidth and resources by hosting it in the Youtube servers.

How can I show videos on custom index page?

• Copy the mod\custom_index\views\default\page\layouts\custom_inde.php to the same location in your theme or the last plugin in your list
• Find the line echo elgg_view_module('featured',  elgg_echo("custom:members"), $vars['members'], $mod_params); (line number 54)
• Under that add $videos = elgg_list_entities(array('type' => 'object','subtype' => 'videos','limit' => 10,'offset' => $offset,'full_view' => false,'view_toggle_type' => false));
  echo elgg_view_module('featured',  elgg_echo("custom:videos"), $videos, $mod_params);

• Find line 146
• Change get_plugin_setting to elgg_get_plugin_setting

is there any way to use this plugin without uploading to youtube.  its diasppointing how many video plugins there are for 3rd party video services, and nothing good for uploading and hosting on your own server.  good plugin regardless, just not quite what im looking for.  i would love to fork it, or any of the others, if only i knew what exactly would need to be changed.

i'm using this with 1.8.3 and on the group page the most recent videos are not showing on the home page of each group even thou i have uploaded videos to that group
