Hi Jeroen,
I found a bug. When addings multiple tags to an event only the last tag is saved.
@tauvic i do not experience that issue, what i do see, is that tags are not shown at all. The github version has a fix for that. https://github.com/ColdTrick/event_manager
Thanks guys. Great job !
I'd like to know, is it possible for someone to choose who can or can't participate to his event ?
I didn't find it. Everybody is automatically accepted.
Markers are not getting shown on the map when "on the map" tab is clicked. Same happens with search also. Search result markers not shown on the map.
Markers do get shown on individual event pages.
Tested with fresh install of elgg 1 8 14 and latest of this plugin with defaults and no other theme and plugins except all those default.
@kanha could you test it with the latest github version of the event_manager?
Thanks @ Jeroen Dalsem
I tested with the github version. Marking is now happening in some cases - but some are not getting marked at all.
So is this mod not based on API Version 3?
@chicken and @kanha i can't reproduce your issues. None of our clients are reporting this issue, so i would advise you to look into the situation a bit more. Try reinstalling the plugin, clearing the cache or check if there are javascript errors.
If you use firebug you will see on your site a specific js is not loaded. That would probably be the reason maps is not working. http://www.horsica.de/cache/js/default/event_manager/googlemaps.1363793630.js
Looks like event manager is missing elgg_register_simplecache_view call when using simplecache. That's a bug in plugin that was actually causing simplecache reload over and over before 1.8.14.
Thank you for the great plugin, but i´m searching for a german language file for this.
Can you help me?
Hello,
Is it a way to display an event on a custom index page or a front page?
Thx.
the widget_manager plugin includes a index widget that displays events from this plugin.
Ok. I will try it.
Ok. I have not notice that I was on the 2.3 version page. I continue the discussion on the 2.5.1 version page. I install the widget_manager plugin but I cannot see how to configure it to display a list of events on a front page or a custom index page.
Great Plugin - Thank you.
Please may I make some suggestions for making it even better?
Thanks again for such a useful plugin.
@billy thanks! The end date and time of an event is currently already in the github version. We are just testing it out, but it will end up in the next release. If you can't wait you can try the github version for yourself. Duplicating events will probably not be in the Event Manager because it is very complex, but you never know.
Your plugin is newer or http://community.elgg.org/plugins/1148130/1/event-manager-23-it-language-file
