Same for almost all the other event detail fields ?
Im slowly fixing my code here to actually grab the metadata for displays ;-)

The start time is always set as "17:00" even if you change it. I am using elgg 1.8.5.

Hi, thank you for the wonderful plugin. I just want to ask about the event settings such as start time and Options such as as display attendees, etc. 

After i create an event, these otpions and starting time don't appear (and checkboxes aren't checked) (as if these options weren't set in the previous creation page) even though the data is saved in the database.

Hi guys is it possible to make the latest version of this plugin work elgg 1.7 cause the latest one uses Google Maps API v3 which i would like to use for my site but im running 1.7.

After unzipping the archive to the mod/event_manager

i got the following message into the event_manager administration plugin box :

administration [This plugin is invalid: The required file "start.php" is missing.]

@bredsky make sure start.php is in mod/event_manager

or you have no unzip properly

I thought I would like this plugin, I installed looks okay but the thing is this plugin shows on my site totally different than these attached screen shots.

In my site I can not see how many users attending... but in the screen shot attached there is attending I can see..

The map is showing only in the tab and no where else. I think map should show with each single event so users can see the place where event is going to happen.

Maybe I am wrong or not understaing something, please users explain u r getting the same thing as I am getting? I mean different plugin showing on site and different showing in the attached screenshots?

Hi Folks,

I noticed some of you had a problem saving dates for your events, I also had this problem. The problem is not caused by the events plugin, it's caused by the izap_elgg_bridge plugin. My knowledge of php is basic but it seems like the views/default/input/date.php in the izap plugin is somehow stopping dates from being saved. I had a look to see if any of my izap plugins needed to have this date.php and found that nothing I have actually uses it.

My solution was to rename date.php to $date.php so it cannot be used. I have had no problems so far.

It is, the Izap date file doesn't seem to be able to send the date to the database. Did you refresh the cache and upgrade after you renamed the file?

Hi Jeroen, what's the best way to add categorie (I mean side wide categories) to an event. I want the user to choose a categorie when adding a new event, instead of the event type field...

@aethiopicus event types is currently the only way. Maybe we should add support for the site categories plugin. Will add it to our wishlist

I am having  similar problem, the date is saving ok, but the time is not saving, the map does not appear and the pointer doesnt add to the map in event view on map. I realy cant find what the problem is. I hae been trying for days.
