   if you want to delet all that bar , all - friends - mine , just go to : mod/riverdashboard/index.php  , and in line 103 , you found this line : 

$content = elgg_view('page_elements/contentwrapper', array('body' =>$nav . $river));

 just remove  $nav  like this :

  $content = elgg_view('page_elements/contentwrapper', array('body' =>$river));

  or you can edit it in :  mod/riverdasboard/views/default/riverdashboard/nav.php

From my point of view, I do not think it is necessary to eliminate ALL tab of the blogs, files, bookmarks, groups, or pages, only of the activity tag. Because users can define the access (public or private) of other resources except in the activity stream.

Furthermore, although deleting ALL tab, you can access the all activity stream by URL, if you access to www.yourelggsite.domain/activity/all

You are free to alter this plug in anyway you see fit :)

I thought this was the solution to my privacy issues.  However, if someone puts the widget on their dashboard, it still shows all of the activity.
