I put it in my mod directory, but when I try to Enable it (Elgg 1.7), it tells me "Warning: This plugin does not specify a compatible Elgg version."

I know the headline here says v.1.8, but is that the only Elgg version it works with?

@bob - It's 1.8 only.

@evan just tried the plugin and my elgg site crashed and I am using v1.7.8 Any help concerning this? Great concept by the way.

Ok but 1.8 is still under testing. How can one use it on 1.7.8

You can't, unless someone else backports it for 1.7.  I'm not going to do that, but if someone else wants to contribute, I'd be happy to upload their version here and give proper credit.  Just fork the project on github and submit a pull request.
